Growing Season Notes Grüner Veltliner was first planted in Idaho on Huston Vineyards’ Estate. The limestone and volcanic soils along with the diurnal temperature shifts in the summer produce a wine that is both fruit forward and balanced with acidity. The 2024 growing season begin with a cool wet spring establishing an abundant fruit set. The warm dry summer and fall established expressive flavors and bright acids in the Grüner Veltliner block.
