| Growing Season Notes | The growing season of 2021 began early with bud break mid-April followed by a warm spring and hot summer. Fruit set at the end of June occurred during unseasonably warm temperatures creating lower yields. However, the grapes responded favorably to the warm summer producing intense fruit flavors and chalky tannins in all of the red varietals. |
