Growing Season Notes 2022 was a bountiful growing season. Bud break in the vineyard in mid-April with gradient temperature increases throughout the growing season.The fruit was able to finish with both flavor and acids. Grapes ripened slowly creating a well-balanced fruit forward wine.

Growing Season Notes 2021 was a very warm growing season with bud break April 18 followed by a warm spring and hot summer. Intense heat during fruit set established lower yields however the warm summer brought forth intense fruit flavors in each varietal. A picture perfect harvest season of dry warm days and cool nights set the acidity bringing forth well balanced Riesling, Muscat Blanc and Roussanne.

Growing Season Notes 2020 was an exceptional growing season with bud break occurring the week of April 25th. A cool spring with higher than average precipitation gave way to the sunny days and cool nights of an idyllic summer without excessive heat. A long, slow fall allowed the grapes extra time on the vine to ensure perfect ripening.

Growing Season Notes A cool, wet spring led to a slow start of the 2019 growing season. The mild summer provided consistent, even ripening without extreme heat. An early frost brought an abrupt end to the season in Mid-October. But lower yields and a perfect summer brought out a complex, balanced and nuanced 2019 vintage.
