World Malbec Day is our annual celebration of this amazing varietal that grows so well in Idaho.
World Malbec Dinner – Friday, April 12 | 6:30–9
Celebrate World Malbec Day with a dinner of traditional Argentinian fare. Chef Nate Linskoog of the Tower Grill returns to prepare “a la llama o al asador” (over flame) four course lamb dinner. Each course is paired with a Huston Vineyards wine and guests will be the first to try the 2022 vintage of Malbec along-side our 2021 Malbec.
Listen to acoustic guitar music by Steve Fultz and celebrate one of the best varietal’s grown in Idaho with Huston Vineyards owners Gregg & Mary Alger.
General Admission Tickets $100/person, club $95/person
World Malbec Day – Saturday, April 13 | 12–5
The Malbec Celebration continues with a day of wine, food and music. Enjoy a traditional Lamb al Asador bowl by Chef Nate Linskoog paired with a glass of the 2021 and 2022 vintages of Huston Malbec.
The James Gang will play from 1-4 and guests can take a vineyard tour to check on bud break in the Malbec block with Vineyard Manager Josh Alger.

If you’ve been to Huston, you know we are crazy about Malbec. Our Malbec has been a shining star in our Snake River Valley Series, consistently winning awards in competitions in Idaho and throughout the US. Malbec is a varietal that grows very well in the Snake River Valley AVA and is gaining momentum year by year.
